My Xbox 360 bullet mod!?!

Yea your right, I have too much time on my hands.  Well not really.  But with the free time I do have (aside from editing videos and planning my next project) I like to make little 'tweaks' and mods to things I have.  Such as the Halo AI chip I made and the Paint job on my guitar hero 2 guitar.

This one is different cuz I actually had to put even more work into planning it and doing it.

One of the bouncers here at the Border Lounge is a HUGE gun nut, and hooked me up with some silver 9MM shells and 20 gauge shot gun shells.

So first thing I did was take the Xbox controller apart and pull the X, Y, B, A buttons out and grinded them down the the white inner part.  Now what does the white part have to do with this mod?
Well the white plastic inside of the button actually presses down the rubber button that makes the connection when you press the button.  It equals the pressure to the switch and makes the controller know you are pushing the button.  Simmilar to a button on your tv remote.

Now I had to grind these down because the 9mm shell is the same dimention as the button and the button now will slide right into the shell.
I then trimmed off 1/4 inch of the shell off so it doesn't stick up too far.  Then put some JB weld in the shell and put it back in the conroller.  I had to put the button in first then the shell in over top because the ridge on the end of the shell wouldn't fit through the inside of the conroller,  its ok though looks even cooler!

After I made sure the buttons worked fine I tackled the thumb stick.  I trimmed off all but 1/2 inch of the 20 gauge shell.  I had to drill out the pin inside of it to release the plastic stopper in the shell.  That was the messiest part.  This did leave a hole in the end of the shell.
I pealled off the rubber thumb stick cover.  This was always easy on my PS2 conrollers, the xbox is kinda harder though.... yea..  After some cutting and ripping I got it off.  I took some JB weld and filled the thumbstick and set the shell on top.
Remember me saying there was a hole in the shell?  Well the JB Weld actually filled it up and made it look cooler!  Kinda a mistake that worked itself out.

So what does the final project look like?  Well here are a few pics.

Hope you all enjoyed.  I'll post more of my mods real soon
